Position Summary:This position is responsible for cost accounting including but not limited to standard cost roll up and cost tracking, work order and PPV variance analysis and follow up ****s, month end closing, internal control, business analysis and reporting.Scope/Supervision and Inter****:Report to **** ControllerResponsible for both CDA Shanghai and Seal Packing BUInteracts with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, QA, etcInterface with Internal and external Audit, FSU etc.Job Responsibility:In charge of product costing, manufacturing accounts on daily basis and prepare related vouchers.Do cost roll up based on standard cost application & cost simulation based on business scenariosReview work orders, purchase orders, analyze standard cost variances and take corrective ****s. Check customer & intercompany gross margin - analyze any abnormal customer margin & correct intercompany margin that deviates from company policy.Monitor inventory adjustment and inventory scrap process and journal entries.Reconcile inventory accounts (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) with physical inventory counts and JDE system records.Responsible for value stream report, margin and ROS fluctuation analysis.Optimize cost accounting workflows and participates in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen etc) and provides suggestions and support for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.Lead annual cost roll up process to ensure compliance with Corporate requirement. Lead yearly physical inventory count process and support the audit where necessary.Responsible for external audit relating to costing function.Assists in SOX testing and internal control process to make sure all policies, regulations, laws and other standards are followed.Other ad-hoc tasksQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related discipline.3-5 years of hands-on cost accounting experience in manufacturing field.Proven expertise in MRP for manufacturing cost accounting.Good communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Growth mindset.Be able to work under pressureGood command of English.
